I guess this blog is a diary of sorts as I’m currently travelling. It’s a way to share my thoughts and show my photography. I’m studying an Advanced Diploma in Photography after many years not studying so need all the help I can get! I don’t like the idea of post production on photos, mainly because I am the least technical person you’ll meet, and haven’t got the patience for the likes of Photoshop programmes!! I’m trying to learn as much as possible to enable me to hopefully, one day, produce prints from the original shot (I visited a gallery in Broome, Western Australia, years ago where a guy did this) I’d like to hear feedback on the photos, any travel suggestions you may have definitely throw them my way, share your daily thoughts and rants, whatever! I hope you enjoy the journey on my current path!

A true path follows no plan???

I’ve never really been one for the whole life plan thing, and the few times I did come close to having a plan of sorts my “life path” certainly didn’t want to follow it! I might well be having an early midlife crisis or something…..doing an un-married, younger version of Shirley Valentine…..doing an English version of Eat, Pray, Love….I don’t know!!!! It’s been a tough couple of years mentally and emotionally and I made the decision to throw it all in and start travelling again. I am taking the plunge to go it alone, only my camera for company, travelling around the Greek Islands after a weeks chilled holiday with a friend. She took the return flight home. I did not!

So, I’m off. No ties. No worries. Who knows where my path is leading me……
